If you are interested in getting a GA (general admission) weekend pass, you’ll be spending $99. If you’re interested in attending one of the days but not the other, you’ll be spending $60 for a Friday only GA pass, or $80 for a Saturday only GA pass.
What’s sold out? We’ve had some questions about what’s sold out and what’s not. The only type of ticket that is sold out is the RV/camping ticket. There are still plenty of single day and weekend pass tickets available for purchase!
How will the event be organized? First and foremost, there will be NO FREE vehicle parking available at the festival location. General Admission parking is $15 online and $20 at the gate. The festival has arranged for FREE shuttles to pick up attendees at various locations at the lake and take them to festival grounds. Upon your arrival, you will go through security, show your tickets, get your wrist bands, and enter the festival area. Once you're through the gates, you will be able to enjoy the beach party and other fun activities from 12PM -4PM both days. Interested in getting there just in time for the concert? If so, gates will open both days at 4 and the concerts will begin at 4:30. Be sure to bring a lawn chair as well – all spots in GA are first come, first serve!
What’s in a Name? If you found yourself wondering why it’s called the 2017 Dam Musical Festival, we’re here to help you out! The name is because the festival takes place near the the dam at El Dorado Lake and it's a clever play on words. Daytime events and nighttime concerts will keep the party going ensuring everyone has a Dam good time. Please see map for more Dam details.
What other fun activities will be there? The Dam Music Festival will have many other activities taking place throughout the day. For starters, there will be yoga on the beach both Friday and Saturday at 9 am, and 10 am. Afterwards, on both days, there will be a beach party from 12 to 4. Paddleboard rentals, life-size beer pong, and corn hole tournaments are just some of the things that will be available at the beach party for a little extra fun in the sun! On top of all this, helicopter rides and rides on the inflatabull will be available throughout the day as well!
Can you bring your own alcohol? The question you may have been wondering until now – can you bring your own alcohol? The festival has requested that no alcohol be brought onto the premises from outside. This means no coolers and no outside food or drink is allowed. If you carry a tote bag into the festival, please make sure it is clear, so they can ensure this rule is followed. Beverages can easily be purchased at a bar inside after you have presented your ID and obtained a wristband! Beer will be $5 each and they will have buckets of 5 beers available for $25. They will also have DAM Punch, frozen cocktail freezer pops and full liquor bars. Non alcoholic beverages will also be for sale inside the festival area.
Tickets, Wristbands, and Animals There are a couple of additional things that are important to keep in mind. The festival has asked that no pets be allowed into the area, only working dogs will be accepted with proper documentation. If you buy a weekend pass, do not remove your wristband after the first day! If you do lose your wristband, you will be asked to exit the venue and purchase a new full-priced ticket. All Sales are final and wristbands are non-transferable. This is all pretty standard with music festivals but we thought we'd include so everyone is aware.
