Activities abound at the Historical Museum for young people and their families this summer! The Museum’s educators have created programs designed to uniquely engage these special visitors in memorable, exhibit-focused activities. All sessions are conducted by experienced, expert teachers.
Dolls on the Prairie – Dolls accompanied the first settlers to Kansas, and like the dolls of Plains Indians tribes, they were used to tell stories and help children understand the world. Wonderful dolls are featured in the Museum’s collection – bring your doll to meet them. Recommended for second grade and up.
Visit the Museum’s website at www.wichitahistory.org or call 316-265-9314 for more complete, upcoming information.
