The 2019 Miss Vietnam Wichita Pageant is an opportunity for young Vietnamese-American women to build confidence and develop leadership skills while learning more about the Vietnamese culture. In addition, this community event has provided scholarships and valuable experiences to support and empower Vietnamese-American women. The new 2019 Queen and her court will be representatives of the Vietnamese-American youth and will strive to attend/support community events. They will work alongside the MVNW2019 committee as well as past titleholders, to promote and preserve cultural diversity here in Wichita. Finally, Miss Vietnam Wichita 2019, along with Queens representing other Asian communities, will go on to compete in the 39th annual Miss Wichita Asian Festival on October 26th, 2019.

To determine the next Miss Vietnam Wichita, the contestants will compete in these categories:
Private Interview
Ao dai wear (traditional Vietnamese garment)
Evening gown wear
Q&A Segment
Talent Routine

For this year’s pageant, the titles and awards include:
~ Miss Vietnam Wichita: $500 cash, crown, sash, and gifts
~ First Princess: $300 cash, crown, sash, and gifts
~ Second Princess: $200 cash, crown, sash, and gifts
~ Miss Private Interview: $100 cash, sash, and gifts
~ Miss People’s Choice: $100 cash, sash, and gifts
~ Miss Photogenic: $100 cash, sash, and gifts
~ Miss Congeniality: $100 cash, sash, and gifts
~ Miss Talent: $100 cash, sash, and gifts

In an effort to elevate the quality of year’s pageant and to provide contestants, judges, and audience members a memorable experience, we will be charging $5 admission at the door. Children ages 10 and under will be admitted free of charge. Both cash and card will be accepted.
