The inaugural concert of the new Wichita Carillon, located away from public view on the Museum’s 5th floor, will be held on Saturday, May 11th at 2:00 PM. The concert commemorates the 100th Anniversary of Wichita’s decorative World War I Victory Arch and Victory parade held on May 9, 1919. This special concert will be performed by Lynne Davis, Robert L. Town Distinguished Professor of Organ, Wichita State University. The concert will consist of the best loved songs of the WWI era. This concert is one of eight Bloomfield Trust Carillon Concerts performed annually.
